Our Story
From OKISOM to Kingsbridge University
Kingsbridge University traces its roots to the Oral K. Ingram School of Ministry (OKISOM), a ministry training institution founded to equip believers for local church ministry and evangelism. For years, OKISOM served hundreds of students with practical, biblically grounded ministry education.
As the vision grew and the need for accredited, degree-granting theological education became clear, the institution embarked on a transformational journey. Under the leadership of Dr. Linda A. Collymore, OKISOM was restructured, expanded, and reestablished as Kingsbridge University, Inc. — a fully accredited institution of higher learning.
Today, Kingsbridge University stands as a new chapter in that legacy: honoring the foundation laid by OKISOM while reaching forward to offer Associate and Bachelor of Biblical Studies degrees, with plans for graduate programs in the years ahead. The February 2027 inaugural cohort marks the beginning of a new era in Kingdom education.
OKISOM Established
Operation Kingdom International School of Ministry founded to train believers for local church ministry.
Vision Expanded
Leadership begins the process of restructuring OKISOM into a degree-granting university.
Kingsbridge University Chartered
Kingsbridge University, Inc. officially established with accreditation process underway.
Inaugural Cohort Launches
First class of students begins the Associate and Bachelor of Biblical Studies programs in February 2027.

Dr. Linda A. Collymore
Dr. Linda A. Collymore is the President and Founder of Kingsbridge University, a visionary leader whose life and ministry have been marked by an unwavering commitment to biblical education, spiritual formation, and Kingdom advancement.
With decades of experience in ministry, pastoral leadership, and theological education, Dr. Collymore recognized the urgent need for an accredited, Christ-centered institution that would equip the next generation of ministers, missionaries, and servant leaders with both academic rigor and spiritual depth.
Her leadership of OKISOM laid the groundwork for what has become Kingsbridge University — a testimony to her faith, perseverance, and obedience to the call of God. Dr. Collymore holds advanced degrees in theology and ministry leadership and continues to serve as a pastor, teacher, and mentor to students and ministry leaders across the nation.
